Timeless Infinite Light had a work party this afternoon at Wolfman Books. We just got back the covers of Tender Points by Amy Berkowitz, and we got together to hand-strip the die-cut holes from the coverstock. During this process, we encountered the limits of our knowledge. Is there a term for the shapes after they have been punched out? A term for that which has to be taken away in order for the absence to become visible? We don't know. We couldn't find this anywhere online. Donut holes? Negative holes? Cookies?
