Let me tell you about
Faces I see
-Julia Holter, "Vasquez"
Floe is an exploration of the connections between landscape changes and thought patterns. Using sculptures, textiles and drawings, Smith examines how intentions are made and ruined through shifting, sinking and reemerging narratives. There is a deliberate use of finger and mark making tying the works together and an attempt to continue looking for patterns in the movements.
