Hybrid Moments is a poetry reading series in Oakland, CA. It happens every Saturday at 2pm at La Commune Cafe & Bookstore at 4799 Shattuck Ave.

Except for August 8th, when it's moving to E.M. Wolfman!

Camilo Roldán is a poet and translator living in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. From 2011 to 2013, he co-curated the Triptych Reading Series and is currently editor-in-chief for the chapbook press Diez. He is the author and co-author respectively of the chapbooks Amilkar U., Nadaísta in Translation (These Signals Press 2011) and ∆ [delta] (TPR Press 2013). His latest chapbook, La Torre, is out now from Well Greased Press (2015). His work has most recently appeared in Dreginald, Mandorla, The Poetry ProjectNewsletter, and Aufgabe.

Kate Robinson is a poet and intermedia book artist living in Oakland, CA where she co-founded the Manifest Reading and Workshop Series and creates artists’ books and ephemera as Manifest Press. She also performs as The Third Thing, a feminist performance troupe, with fellow Bay Area poet Ivy Johnson.

Grace Mitchell is a poet & video artist. Her poems have appeared in "Elsewhere", "No Coast Summer" & other small press publications. She lives in Milwaukee, WI where she studies poetry, film and philosophy.

Steve Dickison has recent work published in the limited edition chapbook Sound Studio 3 (Liner Notes) [ 2nd Floor Projects ]; the anthologies For Bill, Anything: Images and Text for Bill Berkson (Pressed Wafer), and Homage to Etel Adnan (The Post-Apollo Press); and in magazines including BOMB (2014 BOMB Poetry Prize), Poeticanet (Greece), Evening Will Come/The Volta, Vanitas, Amerarcana, and Where Eagles Dare. He directs The Poetry Center at San Francisco State University, and teaches there and at California College of the Arts.
