Emily Mitchell, Eliza Smith and Colin Winnette

Emily Mitchell is on tour for her new book, 'Viral: Stories', Eliza Smith is a brilliant producer/editor at NPR's Snap Judgment, and Colin Winnette just released his latest novel, 'Haints Stay'. Seriously! These writers are all strange and wonderful, and this will be the best thing! Come on out, people!

Emily Mitchell
Emily Mitchell's stories have been published in Harper’s, Ploughshares, New England Review, and elsewhere. She teaches at the University of Maryland. Her novel The Last Summer of the World was published in 2007. She lives in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Colin Winnette
Colin Winnette is from Denton, Texas. He is the author of Revelation (Mutable Sound 2011), Animal Collection (Spork Press 2012), Fondly (Atticus Books 2013), Coyote (Les Figues 2015), and Haints Stay (Two Dollar Radio 2015). He lives in San Francisco.

Eliza Smith
Most recently, Eliza has been working at NPR's Snap Judgment. She is the first editor to consistently bring fictional content to the program. She has had the privilege of working with some of her favorite writers: from Alissa Nutting and Manuel Gonzales, to Amelia Gray, Seth Fried, and Faith Gardner. 
Before her work with Snap, Eliza created and co-produced her own flash fiction podcast, which featured under-represented authors reading their flash fiction stories.
Eliza lives in Oakland, and works all over the Bay Area.
